Founder’s Experience & Selected Recognition

Before founding CivicBridge Integration & Development LLC, the founder, Jawad Nayosh, accumulated extensive experience designing and delivering culturally responsive training and community-based services for refugee and immigrant populations in partnership with multiple organizations in the United States and internationally.

One example of this work was highlighted by the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) during International Literacy Day 2025. In this feature, USCRI recognized Jawad Nayosh’s role as an independent contractor and lead trainer in delivering ESL, Digital Literacy, Job Readiness, and mental health–informed education for Afghan refugees through USCRI Denver’s virtual programs.

The program, delivered in Dari and Pashto, supported adult learners—primarily women and mothers—who faced barriers related to trauma, low literacy, stigma, and limited access to technology. The initiative grew from 30 to more than 85 participants within three months and integrated language learning, workforce preparation, and mental health awareness in a culturally responsive format.

This USCRI feature represents one of several professional engagements and impact examples that inform the approach, curriculum design, and service delivery model of CivicBridge Integration & Development LLC today.
